Mice kept in Group Ι were healthy while the Mice in Group ΙΙ and Group ΙΙΙ were injected with single dose (200 mg / kg body weight) of Alloxan monohydrate in peritoneum to induce diabetes. ![]() Mice were arranged into three groups, Group Ι (-ve control), Group ΙΙ (+ve control) and Group ΙΙΙ (treated) respectively. That’s why the experiment was well designed to treat the hyperglycemia by using the Black cumin seeds (Kalunji) in diabetic mice. Herbs are considered good source for its treatment and have no harms and side effects.
